Over 20 area attorneys virtually gathered this past Wednesday for Newport Harbor Bar Association’s first ZoomCast.

The event, produced in association with the Orange County Criminal Defense Bar, featured Senior OC Public Defender, Scott Sanders. Sanders’s topic was “The Orange County Evidence Booking Scandal.”

This event, which marked NHBA’s first foray into virtual space, was produced for NHBA by Vice President Kristine Adams-Urbinati and Board Member Linda Iannelli.

Attorney Sanders, an advocate for both criminal justice and police reform, achieved instant notoriety for his role uncovering the “Jail House Informant Scandal.”
